... already since 1974! Long before the start of the organic boom and the EC Organic Regulation, Joseph Wilhelm and Jennifer Vermeulen, the two founders of RAPUNZEL NATURKOST, performed important pioneer work.
With their committment for healthy, high-quality organic foods they inspired many people to get involved in organic cultivation and thus laid the basis for today’s 15 organic cultivation projects in 11 countries.
In 2011, RAPUNZEL NATURKOST is one of the leading companies with respect to the production, manufacturing and distribution of organic, vegetarian foods with almost 300 employees and an annual turnover of more than 100 million Euro.
The more than 450 products of the RAPUNZEL brand are available in over 6,000 natural health food stores all over Germany and 30 other countries.
From the purchasing of the organic raw materials all the way to the sale of the finished products, RAPUNZEL is obliged to guarantee excellent product quality. This includes the entire supply chain – suppliers, our staff, the distribution and our customers.
With a healthy environment we can look into a livable future. For that reason, we favor organic cultivation, fair trade and the preservation of our natural resources.
