Capers in brine



Preserved in brine, the flowers of the caper shrub have a savory and aromatic flavor and a pleasant, crispy bite. The flowers are manually harvested in the early morning hours when the flowers are still closed. A specialty that requires a lot of tender care.

Usage
ideal supplement to pizza, Mediterranean dishes, sauces, salads and meatballs. The brine may also be used for seasoning.

Preparation
After manually harvesting the capers, they are washed and filled into jars in a brine with water, wine vinegar and sea salt. The jars are heated for preservation.
