A field as a place of learning? In this presentation, you will find out why and how Acker e.V. is involved with educational programmes for kindergarten children through to senior citizens in care homes.

Acker e.V. is committed to promoting greater appreciation of nature and food throughout the German-speaking world. With its award-winning educational programmes "GemüseAckerdemie" and "AckerRacker", the social enterprise is establishing the vegetable field as a natural place of learning in the daily educational routine of schools, daycare centres and kindergartens.

What should our future of tomorrow look like? What skills do we need for this? And what does all of this have to do with a vegetable field? Together, we will take a look at how the field can become a place of learning, building a bridge to ecological challenges and global connections.

In this lecture, we invite young and old to search for these answers with all their senses!
