The climate crisis is threatening cocoa cultivation and, with it, also our beloved chocolate! This is unfair on many levels! Those who are least responsible for the climate crisis are the ones most affected by it. Yet, along the supply chains, those who can do a lot about it earn the most.

We would like to discuss this together with representatives of the COOPROAGRO cocoa cooperative from the Dominican Republic. We want to talk about the concentration of power in supply chains, about what needs to change in cocoa cultivation and trade relations, and what the contribution of fair trade can be to attain greater climate justice.
