Method

Soak the soy beans overnight in a large bowl with lots of water. The soybeans are properly soaked when the skin pops off easily. The milk does taste a bit milder without the skin of the soybean.

Drain the water. Repeat following steps till all soaked soybeans are used: give one cup of soaked soybeans with 3 cups of fresh water into a blender and mix until a creamy consistency is reached. Pour the raw milk through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a pot. Now the raw soymilk has to be heated so it is edible for humans. Place the pot with the raw soymilk on a stove and let simmer for about 20 minutes while stirring the milk with a spoon. Finish the soymilk to taste with whole cane sugar, salt or vanilla powder. The milk will keep in the fridge for a few days cooled.
