Creamy premium rice variety 'Ribe' - the classic Italian Risotto rice variety. The rice grows in the Piemont, a traditional rice growing region where the rice paddies are irrigated with fresh mountain water from the Alps. Experienced organic farmers produce a Risotto rice with a mild, aromatic taste.

Usage
Ideal for all risotto varieties, Paella, creamy soups, fillings or rice salads, also suitable for milk rice.
Preparation Instructions
Risotto cooking method (for approx. 4 portions) Soak rice overnight. Sauté chopped onion in some butter or olive oil until glassy. Add rice and sauté for a few more minutes. Slowly add 750 ml hot water. Stir Risotto continously while cooking. Cooking time: 30 to 40 minutes until it gets creamy. Season with salt or broth only at the end. Classic cooking method: Bring 250g rice with 3 to 4 times the amount of water to a boil. Let simmer at low heat for about 50 to 60 minutes.
