Dal 1998 Rapunzel Naturkost sostiene progetti ecologici e sociali con 1% del valore di acquisto delle materie prime. Insieme alla DUH (German Environmental Aid), tramite il fondo HAND IN HAND, Rapunzel ha supportato fino al 2021 un totale di 468 progetti ecologici e sociali in paesi del Sud globale, in 64 paesi diversi per un totale di 2 milioni di euro.

Resilienza climatica: Agricoltura biologica sostenibile a livello di comunità, Malawi
Per la maggior parte della popolazione del Malawi, la piccola agricoltura è indispensabile per l'autosufficienza. Ma i loro mezzi di sussistenza sono minacciati da eventi meteorologici estremi dovuti al cambiamento climatico e dalla dipendenza dalle corporazioni internazionali dei semi.
L'organizzazione non governativa Youth for Environment and Sustainable Development (YSD) sta creando cinque fattorie dimostrative a Mazdi (Malawi centrale) insieme ai membri della comunità, nelle quali cento agricoltori ricevono una formazione in agricoltura biologica. Il progetto pone un'enfasi particolare sui metodi per aumentare la resilienza al clima e sui semi tradizionali di alta qualità. Il fondo HAND IN HAND sostiene il progetto con 5.000 Euro per misure di formazione.
Foresta pluviale: L'apicoltura genera reddito e protegge gli ecosistemi, Bolivia
L'organizzazione italiana AVEPROBI sostiene gli apicoltori delle comunità agricole indigene del bacino amazzonico contro l'eccessivo sfruttamento della foresta pluviale. Le misure combinano la generazione di reddito, la conservazione delle specie e la protezione della foresta. Il progetto dell'apicoltura fa inoltre parte di un programma più ampio che promuove l'uso sostenibile della foresta e l'agricoltura ecologica. Il fondo HAND IN HAND sostiene misure di formazione e attrezzature per l'apicoltura con 5.000 euro.
Promozione femminile: Accesso all'apprendimento a distanza per le ragazze emarginate, Nepal
Street Child Deutschland e.V. rende possibile l'accesso alla formazione a bambini delle regioni più povere del mondo.
Per le ragazze del gruppo svantaggiato Musahar in Nepal, l'istruzione è uno dei pochi strumenti che permetta loro di liberarsi dalla schiavitù del debito a vita. Per garantire l'istruzione a queste ragazze anche nelle condizioni della pandemia di Covid 19, l'ONG ha stabilito un modello di apprendimento a distanza semplice e poco costoso tramite altoparlanti Bluetooth. Successivamente queste ragazze saranno inserite in scuole locali o sostenute nel fare i primi passi nella vita lavorativa. Il fondo HAND IN HAND fornisce 5.000 euro per l'implementazione e la realizzazione del modello.
