Allgäu Ghee

For Rapunzel Ghee, Allgäu butter is processed in a traditional boiling procedure. Ghee can be heated to high temperatures making it perfect for roasting and cooking. It refines your meals with a delicate butter flavor. Ghee is a staple food in the Ayurvedic kitchen where traditionally spices are first fried in ghee to release their full aroma.

Preparation
Butter from the Allgäu is melted in a gentle cooking process. Next, the water that is contained in the butter is evaporated with the traditional Ayurvedic boiling process. Prior to filling the ghee into jars, the ghee is filtered through a special sieve.
