Today, coffee is the most popular drink around the world, tea takes the second place. There is no denying: coffee and tea are gently addictive drugs that are central in our modern life.

If you indulge yourself you should do it at least in a responsible way. With a globally traded product such as coffee, already a single, apparently harmless daily cup has a direct influence on environmental and social conditions in the producing countries.

Rapunzel coffee is made with green coffee from Peru, Honduras and Tanzania. The green coffee is produced exclusively by our long-time Rapunzel HAND IN HAND partners, Norandino, Hawit Caffex and KCU.

Some years ago, there was organic coffee and there was fair trade coffee. Rapunzel combined these two aspects, "organic" and "fair", in the HAND IN HAND program. From our point of view, organic and fair belong together and should not be separated in order to make a truely sustainable coffee production possible.
