FAQ

Mung bean bioSnacky
Mung beans sprouts taste sweet, fresh and crunchy. The well known 'bean sprouts' used in Asian food are usually mung bean sprouts. They are ideal for wok dishes, salads and wraps. Growing sprouts is the easiest way to get important vitamins, minerals, trace elements, secondary phytochemicals and dietary fibers all year round - freshly harvested and 'regional' from your windowsill!
Ingredients
mung bean seeds*
* = ingredients from organic farming
** = from biodynamic agriculture
Usage
Soak seeds before germination. Rinse thoroughly in fresh water before consupmtion. Development of tiny fibrous roots may occur. Use 2 tbsp seeds per tray or glas germinator. Let soak for 12 hours. Rinse twice a day. The sprouts are ready to eat after 3 to 5 days. The ideal germination temperature is 18 to 22°C. They may only be eaten raw after the 4th day of germination.
